An Evolution in Grading and Teaching: Gradescope Faculty Panel

Please join us for a faculty panel to hear how Berkeley instructors are using Gradescope--an online, rubric-based grading platform--to save time and improve learning outcomes. This event will give instructors new to Gradescope an opportunity to learn about the platform as well as hear from peers and see it in practice.

Teaching Excellence Colloquium (for faculty new to Berkeley)

The year-long Teaching Excellence Colloquium (TEC) provides ladder-rank faculty new to Berkeley with the knowledge, tools, and inspiration to achieve Berkeley's high expectations for teaching excellence while benefiting from becoming part of a cohort of peers across many disciplines. The colloquium kicks off every August with a day-long event which is followed by a two-semester sequence of monthly workshops emphasizing various aspects of teaching and learning at all levels, and an opportunity to conduct peer observations of classroom teaching within small learning communities.
