Building off of our "Getting Started with Zoom" workshop, "Zoom to the Next Level" is an interactive session that explores what we learned using Zoom during our first semester in the cloud and the improvements that will be available in the Spring.  We asked students what they wish their professors knew when teaching with Zoom.  This workshop will provide a more advanced overview of key features, including:

  • New Features this Fall
  • Breakout Rooms
  • Polling
  • Presentations and Media
  • Privacy and Security Setting
  • Zoom integrations with bCourses and Kaltura
  • Backup plans and Google Meet

Series description

Building off of our "Getting Started with Zoom" workshop, "Zoom to the Next Level" explores what we learned using Zoom during our first year in the cloud and the improvements that will be available in the Summer. This workshop will provide a more advanced overview of key features, notes about new features, and other ways to level up your Zoom skills for next semester.

Prerequisites: Participation in Getting Started with Zoom workshop sesson or intermediate familiarity with Zoom's features for instruction.
