Strategies for Responding to and Recovering from Instructional Disruption

November 4, 2019, 2:00pm to 3:00pm
Intended audience:
Academic Support Staff, Faculty, Graduate Students, Instructors

Given recent disruptions, how might you and students still progress toward meeting desired course goals? These scenarios leave instructors and students wondering “Now what? How do we adapt as a result of lost class time, lapsed assignment time windows, missed exam dates, or adjust course point totals? How do we prepare and design for resiliency to such events in the future?”

Come discuss with colleagues ways in which you can still meet the outcomes of your courses. Learn of support that is available and provide input as to resources and support going forward. On hand will be staff from Digital Learning Services, Center for Teaching and Learning, Academic Innovation Studio, and more. Refreshments and snacks provided.

Registration is unavailable. Registration closed on November 3, 2019 - 5:00pm.
