Berkeley Collegium Showcase: Narrowing the Gap Between Teaching and Research

Since 2012, the Berkeley Collegium has worked to foster innovation and excellence in undergraduate teaching at UC Berkeley. This event showcases recent projects funded through the Collegium's signature program "Narrowing the Gap Between Teaching and Research."

Please join us for brief presentations about each of the following grant projects:

  • Exploring the Etruscans at UC Berkeley; Lisa C. Pieraccini (Classics)
  • Sustainable soils research incubator; Céline Pallud and Sarick Matzen (Environmental Science, Policy, and Management)
  • Y-PLAN ( Youth – Plan, Learn, Act, Now) – Undergraduate Action Research Initiative; Deborah McKoy (Graduate School of Education, City and Regional Planning, Institute of Urban and Regional Development)
