Picture of Miles Lincoln Join us for an overview of bCourses (Canvas), Berkeley’s learning management system, and its native (built-in) features such as Announcements, Pages, Modules, Assignments, Quizzes and Discussions. Follow along with a practical workflow for basic site setup and adding and editing content.

In this workshop you will learn how to:

  • Add and organize course content

  • Create Modules and Pages

  • Use Canvas for communication and sending announcements

  • Create and grade assignments

  • Create online quizzes

  • Set up discussions

  • Get help

Miles Lincoln is a part of the Research, Teaching, and Learning (RTL) organization where he serves as the bCourses (learning management system) service lead in addition to supporting a portfolio of integrated tools for teaching and learning. He received his Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In his spare time, Miles enjoys running and biking!
