In this session, Rita-Marie Conrad, senior consultant from the Center for Teaching and Learning, will discuss common pitfalls and share tips and creative strategies to strengthen your syllabus. Participants will also have the opportunity to give and receive feedback on their syllabus.

From Sources to Data: Using OCR in the Classroom

More than three dozen Berkeley faculty and staff turned out on a rainy Wednesday afternoon for our second App-y Hour.  Volunteers from Chemistry, MCB, Education, Public Health, Berkeley Law, the Library, Center for Teaching and Learning, ETS, Digital Humanities, and Research IT gave 60-second presentations on an interesting assignment or tool that supports collaboration and/or engagement.
