Using Films (and Clips) in the Classroom: Workshop for the LFLFC

February 1, 2017, 12:00pm to 1:30pm

Read a recap of this program.

Open to: All faculty and staff

Description:

In conjunction with the Library Media Resource Center, the Berkeley Language Center has developed an online tool that allows instructors to easily access, annotate, and stream video clips from many popular films for their students. Designed originally as an innovation in foreign language instruction, the tool is generating broad interest among other faculty who use video to teach and engage students in their courses.
Come join in a discussion to learn about the tool and participate in an interactive design/mapping exercise to provide valuable insights and feedback about how the tool can best serve your instructional goals and needs. We want your input!
For more information, contact Mark Kaiser, Associate Director of the Berkeley Language Center. Lunch will be provided.
