Description:

Do you have the feeling your students might not be reading your syllabus or referring to it throughout the semester? What can you do to change this?   

In this session, Rita-Marie Conrad, senior consultant from the Center for Teaching and Learning, will discuss common pitfalls and share tips and creative strategies to strengthen your syllabus. Participants will also have the opportunity to give and receive feedback on their syllabus.

Please RSVP and please bring your laptop and at least one printed copy of your syllabus, even if it's still in draft form. All questions are welcome!

This workshop will also be offered on Thursday, August 17 from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Drop-in support for other pedagogical concerns is also available August 15, 29, and 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the AIS or by appointment.
