Mobile App Accessibility Workshop

October 25, 2018, 10:00am to 11:30am

Description:

Are you working on apps for your unit? Or do you want to just create your own app? Make sure everyone can get the most out of what you’re creating!

Lucy Greco from the Web Access team will be facilitating a fun interactive workshop on how to make sure your apps are accessible and useful to everyone.

We will cover screen readers on iOS and Android. We will learn how to use your own devices to do some quick simple testing. Then we will have to fun exercises that demonstrate how important access is. Bring your own phone and expect to use it. Come prepared to demo one of your favorite apps that is not a built-in app that is safe for work.
