FUSION360 workshop

September 14, 2017,
2:00pm to 4:00pm

Open to: Everyone

Interested in learning how to create 2D/3D designs using technology and share your projects with the tech community?

Come join us at the Moffitt Makerspace where you can learn from Autodesk professionals on how to use FUSION 360, a cloud-enabled application that enables you to design, collaborate, and share your 2D or 3D projects with anybody.

NOTE THAT THIS EVENT IS TAKING PLACE IN THE MOFFITT MAKERSPACE, NOT IN DWINELLE. Please register using this eventbrite link as space is limited.

Also, please read and follow the instructions below before attending. If you have questions about Moffitt Makerspace and Autodesk, check out the links below.

Located on the first floor of Moffitt Library, the Moffitt Makerspace is a pilot program made possible by a grant from the Student Technology Fund. ETS, the University Library, and SAIT have partnered with B.Makerspace, a collective of student design clubs, to provide a place to explore design technologies and methods for students at Cal. This event is open to students as well as faculty and staff.

  1. Bring your personal laptops/computers as Fusion licensing works best on them; however, we can provide computers if you are unable to bring a device
  2. Download Fusion360 at www.Autodesk.com/workshop, and open it once before the workshop
  3. Bring a 3-button mouse (Apple Magic Mice do not work well)
  4. Bring a power adapter (This is more pertinent for power-hungry PCs)

See event details for participation information.
