Advancing Practice presents: Center for Support & Intervention: Supporting Students in Distress

In this session tailored to student-facing staff and faculty, learn about the Center for Support and Intervention's campus community prevention initiatives, how to recognize indicators of distress in students, and about how to refer students to key campus resources. For situations that are more intense or concerning, learn how CSI can provide additional insight, consultation, and direct assistance to you and to our students. This session will be recorded.

The Center for Support and Intervention (CSI) is an office that, in addition to leading bystander intervention education and other prevention work for the campus, supports students who are experiencing distress and helps manage the impact of this distress on their well-being, academic success, and the community. Case managers work with students, staff, and faculty to help coordinate the community of care and support network that exists between campus and community resources.
