Beginning with the End in Mind: Getting Started with Course Planning

What process do you use for (re)designing a course? How do you decide what to prioritize and where to start? How will you know what students have learned? In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore an intentional approach for developing or revising courses, creating a roadmap to help students remember what they’ve learned well after the semester ends. Participants will also have the opportunity to examine a course of their own and identify the most key elements of their instruction.

Attendees are also encouraged to explore how bCourses organization and design can support course planning through upcoming workshops hosted by DLS: Intro to the DLS Core Template and Intro to the DLS DesignPlus Template.
