The Center for Teaching and Learning will be hosting three workshops designed to unpack the benefits, challenges, and nuances of assessing student learning in remote courses. The series begins with an introduction to formative assessments where participants will explore evidence-based strategies for assessing student learning over time and in a low-stakes environment. The series proceeds with a deeper dive into specific kinds of assessments, namely bCourses quizzes and metacognitive assessments for fostering resilience in student learning. Please join us for one or all sessions of this series!
