Open to: Faculty, Researchers, Graduate Students, and Staff

The Jupyter Notebook is a web application that enables users to create and share documents that contain live code, equations, visualizations and explanatory text. This interactive training session, led by staff from Berkeley Research Computing, demonstrates the use of Jupyter notebooks on the Savio High-Performance Computing cluster.

The second half of the session includes demonstration of more advanced topics, including how to run jobs in parallel on Savio and how to integrate notebooks with Box for efficient data transfer.

This workshop is open to all researchers, but some familiarity with the python programming language is helpful.

Registration is not required, but please fill out this survey to help us tailor the session appropriately to participants' needs.
