Interior photo of DIY Media Studio in the AIS, where instructors can create media for their courses.

Our free-to-use DIY Media Studio is intended to support instructors looking to add video to their teaching techniques. Equipped with HD cameras, professional lighting, multiple backdrops, Macintosh and Windows computers, pen tablets and a wide array of screen capture and video software, it is easy to use and ready for action.

Our DIY Media Workstations can be used to edit content captured in the Studio, as well as to edit content obtained by other means. Staff are available to provide basic orientation to the available tools but not to provide software training; staff will provide you with resources for learning on your own.

For more in-depth assistance on such topics as video strategy, workflow development, tool selection, and distribution options, please use our consultation calendar to schedule a DIY Media consultation (limited availability).
